ABOUT

Oh hi there!

Thanks for coming to pay me a visit, I thought I’d best start this blog with a little bit about me.

My name is Sarah McWilliams; I’m 26 years old, I work as an Occupational Therapist in Victoria’s public mental health system and I live in Melbourne, Australia.

My main loves are my chocolate Labrador “Rubin”, my handsome boyfriend “James”, my beautiful family and my amazing friends. Clearly I’m also a big fan of knitting! Hence this blog!

“Of course she knits” is something I hear every time I whip out those needles and yarn in front of those around me. You see I’m a bit of a jack (or Jill I guess!) of all trades. My passions include cooking, baking, cycling, swimming, triathlon, surfing, stand up paddle boarding, eating (donuts are my favourite!), dancing (ballroom and latin), sewing, general craft activities, travelling (I’ve been to Fiji, Malaysia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore, LA, Hawaii, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Austria, England, Scotland, Thailand, Bali and New Zealand), learning languages (German, Spanish and thanks to a high school bestie I can also speak a bit of Serbian believe it or not!), making videos….I could go on, but you totally get the point right??!

So my friends and family often roll their eyes when I pull out the next thing I want to learn, create or discover! Of course they reap the rewards of many homemade gifts, delicious foods, baked goods etc… but they also support me and watch me destroy myself in triathlons, open water swimming events and for that I am always so grateful!

So this is just the start of this blogging journey and I’m sure it will evolve as time goes by, but my plans for now are to share the things I create here, provide some tips, show off new wools and patterns, suppliers and products I use  and also make some cool tutorial videos as well!

You can find me on Instagram  “Ofcoursesheknits” I’d love for you to check out and give me a follow on!

You can also email me on ofcoursesheknits@outlook.com

Thanks for stopping by!

Sarah

  2. Hi Sarah, I just found your podcast yesterday and I love it! I hope you make more and I am including a link for the cutest little baby pattern that I just found on Pinterest and I thought of your mom mentioning that she is building up her future grandkids wardrobe. 🙂
